I play a lot less in the winter but I try to fit it in

Most of us are hunters also, so like you, golf takes a backseat for a while.

I have been a mizuno wedge guy for 8 yrs. Last month I switched to the vokey tvd m grind wedges and I am glad I did. This set just fits me so much better. I think nike makes a better wedge then cleveland

Word. We'll have to meet up sometime. I usually hit the MSU course, but I'm down to go hit some other courses. Especially after I've played the same one all summer.

Anyone who's more knowledgeable than me, would you compare the MP64s to the AP2s?

The last time I played in Starkville was about 8 years ago, and it was during one of the worst hangovers I've ever had. I haven't played there since. I need redemption

It's a good course. Honestly, some of the best fairways I've played on when they have them in good shape. Greens are usually in great shape as well, they keep them pretty firm though.

Every now and then, my buddy has a friend who gets on Old Waverly, so thats a treat. I need redemption there. I was on pace for an 83, then absolutely blew up on 17 & 18.

I've only had 2 putters in the last 15 years, an old ping anser (now in my sons bag) and an Odyssey White Hot Pro #3 with a Superstroke Mid-Slim grip. I've never had a terrible time putting or the yips (knock on wood) so I don't switch putters.

Now drivers are another story..........I cannot smash with any of them. My swing is the problem not the clubs.

Here are my irons. Picked them up through Global Golf last summer for $400. I think the guy that had them before me hit the 8 iron a couple times and said, "frick it." These are the nicest and best feeling clubs I've ever owned. Had Mizuno MP 60s prior to these.

RBZ 2 hybrid (no 3 wood)

Cleveland Classic putter (black)
