left is more loft, right is less loft. If I wanted to reduce the offset I would bend right (stronger)less loft and less offset.

Thanks. That's what I was looking for.

So, Here's something from yesterday at Zurich. David Duval hits an awful tee shot on 3. Shot Link says 45 yards I think to the flag. He hits a very good shot to 9 feet. Putts next to the hole. And whiffs on a one inch putt. Camera was watching and everybody saw it. He carded a four so he didn't count the whiff. I asked a CBS guy and he said they were talking about on their radios.

CBS has their own system. They had a TV camera on him so it's on tape. I thought maybe he didn't ground his club so......? But everybody around saw it and went WTF?

I asked the guy who bent my wedges flat if that changes the lofts....He said no and even measured the lofts again on his machine after the bend to verify...He has been doing good club work for 55 years

That's crazy.

We probably won't hear anything else about it.

lie are on an up/down axis so i would think it would not change loft. but it would effect bounce angles

Did you mean to say it would not change lofts?

In other events. Calcavecchia pulled a line drive on the tee, And hit a spectator about 40 yards from the tee. The ball then went about 60 feet up and landed on the tee box. But it wasn't a whiff.

Duval was looking half decent at one point yesterday. Losing 30lbs seemed to help his swing.

Yesterday on 6 tee they had a player question the ruling on hitting from 2 club lengths behind the tee marker. Freddie Jacobson was going 2 lengths behind but hit the ball outside the tee marker (went down 12 fairway like Loupe did all week). His partner (can't remember who it was) said going back 2 was good but the ball must pass between the markers. Rules official said Freddie was right, the ball does not have to pass between the markers.

As the week went on more and more guys went down 12 fairway on 6 instead of messing with the water. It cuts off 40-50 yards on the second shot. Wonder if next year that will be OB left.

I heard the guys playing behind Loupe didn't like it at all. They wanted to play fast and he's slow.

That's interesting.

Anybody do that in years past?

True. But he still buys off the rack with Patrick.

Only a handful of times. Loupe is very slow. If you stand on the tee box and look at the small window they have to go through it's crazy to even do it. If you pull it off you save a lot of yardage but if you hit a tree you'll be lucky to get away with a double bogey.

NC, were you at 3 yesteday when Calc nailed the guy with his tee shot?

dip down to tap it in and start picking up your body before the club gets to the ball. It's science
