I'll agree with that. It was a heartbreaking loss and the Rockets were deflated instead of using it as motivation. That's where I want my captain to have the Kobe Bryant attitude of "we're not f****** losing this home game" instead of just bending over.

They need a leader, like a Lebron/Kobe type guy. Harden and Howard may likely never win an NBA championship because they are soft and give up when they face adversity.

Harden, like every great player before him, will be considered "soft" until he wins the big one. Dude is a leader who will continue to improve.

For his sake I hope he does improve, but that performance yesterday, in the most important game of his life, was embarrassing.

A leader doesn't go out the way Harden did last night.

Like when Kobe lost by 39 in Game 6 of the NBA Finals?

Or when LeBron was swept in his first Finals? And looked passive and disinterested in his first one with the Heat?

Those guys are champions. Harden pulls disappearing acts a la last night, the entire NBA finals with the Thunder. Harden kicks the ball off his foot in one of the biggest moments of his NBA career. Kobe and Lebron win championships. Keep fighting the good fight.

Yup. And once Harden wins a championship (and he will), he will suddenly be a leader. I remember when LeBron would never be a leader too.

How delusional to think a Top 5 NBA player who is 25 years old will win a championship.

So you're saying Harden will win a championship. Does that change for you if it's not with Houston?

It's comical to me that Kobe losing by 39 in a do or die game of the NBA Finals isn't choking because he's already won a championship. In reality, young stars are just judged way too harshly. Happened to Jordan, LeBron, and many others.

Meh, he very well could win one. He couldn't do it with Durant and Westbrook though. He has obviously grown as a player since then but he is gonna need more around him than the Rockets currently have.

LeBron
Durant
Curry
Harden
Davis

That's the top 5. Some people would put Westbrook there, but Harden could have done better with that OKC team this year.
