I totally wasn’t expecting that. I’d rather watch his press conference than Sportscenter. Maybe ESPN does care about their ratings after all?

Was this a form of Couging it?

(i.e., couging the season, instead of the game)

I grew up out there, but I've lived most of my adult life in the deep South. I'd say there is an element of superficiality to So Cal, but you can probably attribute that to Hollywood culture, which is based on "make believe".

At the end of the day, people are people in this country, and in a pinch, we (mostly) tend to help each other out no matter where you are. That doesn't mean you don't have bad elements out there, but even when we have hurricanes here on the Gulf Coast, most people want to help their neighbors but you still have looters and such.

At least we don't have to listen to you cry about where they're ranked for a few weeks.

I've spent a lot of time on the West Coast (lived in Vegas for almost a year and took frequent trips to LA). It really is a completely different atmosphere compared to Louisiana, but honestly it felt very superficial. Louisiana has a lot of problems no doubt but the sense of community here is much stronger. If a flood happened over there I don't think you'd see citizens whipping out their boats to go rescue people they don't know, it's every person for themselves over there for the most part.

You're talking out of your arse.

7 turnovers and two touchdowns called back by penalties. It was not their night.
