4. Ohio State (they don't deserve it though)
We played terrible the other night, but we were one of the youngest teams in the country and bringing in the top recruiting class. How would we not deserve a top 4 ranking?

Yeah. I read that PSU has 18 of 22 starters returning.

Why is everyone ranking Florida State so high?

They are losing their best offensive and defensive players.

LSU doesn't belong in the top twenty. They might lose 5 games.

Washington and Ohio state are two teams that I think will be dangerous.

They are both young and "arrived" too early

We had a very young team this year and definitely arrived a year earlier than expected. I think there's only 4 seniors in the two deeps. The problem is that there's quite a few Juniors who are debating about leaving early. John Ross is gone for sure, Budda Baker (S), Elijah Qualls (DT), and Sidney Jones (CB) are expected to go, then Vita Vea (DT) is still debating. It could definitely affect the defense if all of those guys decide to leave early. Azeem Victor (LB) is returning.

I honestly think next year is going to be one of those really special years in college football.

** Clemson is really the kicker in all of this. No idea what they will look like next year.

Clemson is essentially returning their entire two deep on defense and should be great on that side of the ball.

Clemson also returning entire OL, minus one senior

They do lose Watson, Gallman, Mike Williams, Artavis Scott, and Leggett - all their stars on offense. They have recruited extremely well on that side of the ball and have great skill players coming in. The biggest wild card is QB. They will have to relay on 5 star Hunter Johnson to come in during the spring and win the starting job for them to have a top 12 type season.

Auburn, FSU, at Louisville, and at VT are all potential losses next season without Watson

I see them being a 9-4 type team next year with another CFP run in 2018 after they get their QB situation situated with either Johnson or Lawrence.

Either Bama or FSU will start off 0-1, they play each other to start the season.
