I don't know. USC didn't look like the giants they have been in the past. Outside of Pryor, who did USC have really have to worry about? And Pryor, while a very good runner is only an average passer.

A true freshman QB against a more experienced Locker. Locker is a very good runner and very accurate passer. Isn't USC's line pretty young, too?

I mean, talent wise USC gets the nod easy, but its talent is still green.

I don't know if UW will win, but I don't think they'll lose by 22 at home.

Stop it. I'll be pulling for Washington but just because they gave us a game doesn't make them legit. See 2005 Arizona State.

Wait, you mean the same 2005 ASU team that was up 21-3 against USC at half time?

*I think USC destroys UW, but your argument is a poor one.

i don't expect washington to win by any means, but i have reasons to believe:

1) barkley is day to day with a bruised shoulder.
2) usc is playing the second week in a row 1,000+ miles away from home... time difference, exhaustion, etc.
3) this looks, and i may be proven wrong, but it looks like usc's weakest (and youngest) squad in years
4) oregon st, ucla, stanford, oregon st, ???

i think i know what to expect from washington, but usc is a wildly dependent variable. from experience, i know that the other team and the spread matters little to which game usc chokes away.

Lets not forget who the WASH coach is. He knows alot about what USC can bring. Now I think USC wins but Wash should cover the spread. And I don't say this because of how bad LSU looked against Wash.

Last year it was Oregon State, this year it's gonna be the Washington Huskies.

Huskies 33
USC 29

Gonna be a whale of a game. This is a big trap game for USC.

The last time USC played Wash with Locker, I think USC won 27-24. And that USC team was a lot better than this one.

....and lost to Stanford the next week

That team in 2007 was horrible at the beginning of the year

UW's defense is gonna kill their chances. USC by three touchdowns.

Then again, I thought USC was gonna crush tOSU. So what do I know?

not fully positive, but pretty damn sure that this is extremely wrong.

Locker will keep it interesting for awhile. It will be relatively close at halftime (i.e around 7-10), with USC starting slowly after last week. USC will pull away in the 2nd, and win by around 21-24.

I think the line's supposed to be a strength of the team, but they sure didn't look that great against Ohio State. They weren't awful or anything, I just thought they'd be better.

I do agree with this. The line was supposed to be a team strength, but from what little I saw of the tOSU game, it didn’t really impress me. With the unsettled QB situation, I think UW does have a puncher’s chance, but it would be a massive upset. I do believe UW is improved, but they aren’t suddenly a top 25 team.

they played terrible until the final drive. Big part of that was because SC couldn't stretch the field enough to get OSU's LBs and Safeties off the line

our DL is young, but has been awesome

Also did OK on the "drive" at the end of the first half, especially on the run that started it, but yeah, other than that...

AGree. Tressell knew PC would not opon it up and stacked. Once he realized PC would open the field and OSU stopped stacking (final drives in of first and second half)---Poof!

With or without Barkely, we'll open it up more this weekend and each thereafter. I would love to see Corp play- he would give them fits.
