Your schedule is kind of a joke, you have to admit that. Not saying Ohio State isn't the best team. They are. But god damn you only play one game worth talking about.
Depends how the season shakes out. It looks easy at this point. I'd like to see the conference catch up, but at the same time I don't really care. Ohio State can take care of themselves. The rest can keep losing to Temple and BYU.
If Ohio State does their thing, they'll get in and strength of schedule won't mean much.

.... are you kidding ? They looked great , all things considered, with usual 1st game issues etc... Certainly passed "eyeball test" with flying colors .. nice adjustments at half , total domination in 2nd half ... big dog skill players all over roster .. how can you not be impressed .. plus schedule is just so-so ... Buckeyes gonna be very hard to stop and keep out of playoffs ... dat is a solid team dere , cher ..

I hate to say it but they are the best team in the country right now. Then on top of that their schedule for the rest of the year will be a cake walk.

They are the clear cut #1 team IMO. Sure they were a bit sketchy during the 2nd quarter. But dominated the 2nd half.

Not a troll. Just obvious sarcasm.

They did what they were supposed to do, their secondary is suspect but overall they are Hella good. I wish they had more challenges on their schedule but the B1G sucks.

I thought it was pretty meh, against a pretty meh team. ESPN however thinks theyre fricking awesome though.

They were also missing their best defensive players and most of their receiving core.
They aren't head and shoulders above the other best teams in the country and if I had to bet money I would say they won't end up winning it all but with their schedule they are guaranteed to make the playoffs and will have a great chance to win it again.

I have to admit that I was pretty impressed. Did what they had to do to a pretty storied team an d wne that I am sure will be in a bowl game if they dont fall apart due to the loss of Brewer.

They are pretty good and should roll through the B1G. Serious firepower on offense especially with finding Braxton a role it looks like he'll excel at.
The D is a little suspect, but they were missing some guys so I'd expect that to improve as the season progresses

Yes, absolutely. They're by far and away the team to beat in college football. Especially when they get all their players back.

Not sure what you mean by elite but they were supposed to be very good.Had 6 or 7 RSsrs coming back.

Looked good to me. Should be in the playoffs again

They will play one of them in the champion ship game. (Wis, northwestern, or Nebraska)

They are a big play just waiting to happen. Offensively and defensively they can change the momentum of a game with a single play. That is impressive.
They made more than a few mistakes, but some of that may have been first game jitters, and breaking in new players. I expect they will improve over the course of the season, just as they did last season.

Even with 4 players out, they went on the road in a hostile environment and dominated. They will be in the playoff, but once there anything can happen. Championships aren't won in September and do they go through the motions during the regular season?

On the "fun to tackle" scale, OSU is in the 0.5 range (of a 10 pt scale).
Envisioning UWs defense trying to tackle them gives me dry heaves.

They might. They still aren't on the schedule.
