Yep I think Marc is by far our best player, but Conley is arguably the most important.

Falling out of 2nd now looks like a disaster because they'd have a much better chance against LAC without him

I agree Conley's the most important because if he's not playing it's really tough for the Grizz to get any offense out of the guard position.

I think he is only 2nd to CP3 in their ability to dictate the pace of a game. They need to slow down the game to beat a team like Golden State

Isn't GS capable of playing at any pace?

I agreed. Everything runs through Gasol offensively but Conley is the piece that makes it run smoothly. Plus the Grizz are missing out on the fact that Conley will force Curry to work more on the defensive end. Any little bit of extra exerted energy outside of the offensive side, is a help.

Of course, but it is about limiting possessions more than anything. Much easier to get your defense set in a slower pace game.

It's just hard to do. The Warriors turn any mistake into a transition opportunity. You have to play a flawless, mistake free game along with them having an off shooting game. It's a lot easier said then done especially when playing them in Oakland. Maybe they have a better chance at doing that with Conley in the lineup but they have no shot without him.

Any possession that doesn't include Gasol trying to post up Draymond is a bad possession

I remember listening to simmons talk about that and how Conley has a clock in his head about who needs the ball and when they need to get it. That's so important to have at the PG position (unless you have a guy like Lebron or Westbrook)

The Spurs losing that game to the Pels really altered the entire playoffs.

They would have handled the Mavs easily, and then probably beaten the Clippers with home court? No guarantee there, but I'd say they probably would have.

Instead, they're at home.

That's just one of the negatives about not having Conley available for this game. No real floor general.

If Harrison Barnes and Draymond are gonna play like they did today then the Grizz wouldn't have a chance even with Conley.

Actually saw a lot of things I liked today suprisingly

Jordan Adams draining a 3 So excited to see him get more PT next year

Maybe this series can go to 6 games... I said Warriors in 5 yesterday and I think that's what it's gonna be.

I basically said the same thing in another thread. Conley injury is just frustrating because they were really clicking again for the first time in months.

Conley is unlikely to play in Game 2 per Rotoworld.

might be another slaughter tomorrow.
