Is it silly to think this team could actually go undefeated. If a team has only lost 10 games before is it impossible to think a team could win 82. Not saying they will because I think it would have to be a situation where they went for it. My guess is that they will end up losing to a bad team on a back to back sort of thing on a road trip. What say the board. Will a team ever get to the elusive 82-0.

They almost dropped one to Utah on the road. They still haven't played San Antonio or Cleveland. 82-0 won't happen.....72 looks like it's on the menu for sure.

This is how ridiculous this thread is.

Even if you give them a very very generous 85% chance of winning each of the remaining 62 games (after this Charlotte game ends), those odds still only add up 0.000042.

So I guess you could say...

Matt Moore entertained this idea on twitter last week. The responses were great to read.

Isn't Indiana in 1978?? the last NCAA team to go undefeated? At around 35-0...where out of those 35 games, 20 must have been against teams completely inferior...the NBA has so much parity...if they go 73-9, it would be AMAZING.

No NBA team is going to go 100% once they basically lock up home court. It would be dumb to not start resting to prevent injuries.

1976 Indiana was the last one, they went 32-0. Other teams won more games while starting undefeated (such as 1991 UNLV and 2015 Kentucky), but ultimately lost in the tournament. And 82-0 is not happening.

I could definitely see them winning 75 games or so, but they'll drop at least a couple once they start playing the Spurs, Cavs, etc. the second night of back to back results in a couple inevitable losses each year for every team as well.

No...but damn watch Steph's 3rd quarter, i've never seen someone so effortlessly good, I mean he throws up NBA Jam jumpers when he's on.
