Like Floyd, you don't give a fighter like SOG Ward a second look. He will win more impressively the second time.

They just replayed it. Which one was a low blow?

Kovalev was rocked, knew he was about to go down and wanted a break.

Ward wasn't losing the fight. It was close-ish, but he was out boxing kovalev.

He wasn't defending himself, he was just hunched over in a defenseless position. It's equivalent to someone turning their back in a fight.

Kovalev quit bro, he literally sat down. What was the ref supposed to do?

He did look tired that last minute and a half. Dont think those last 3 punches were enough to stop the fight though. Seemed like love taps.

Kovalev wasn't even in trouble because of those borderline shot. He was in trouble because he got caught with a straight right. After that point he stopped defending himself. He was well on his way to getting KTFO.

There's going to be a weird narrative about this fight because of lederman's embarrassingly bad scoring.

He had the same score as one of the judges.

I thought it was 67-66 Kovalev

No doubt the straight right had him wobbled but I still think those shots at the end were low.

100% agree. Even if his cup was high and the shots were on the border it still shouldn't have been stopped. At best should have been an 8 count.

Which he did the previous round if you remember. He was gassed.

Yup, Kell Brock did the same thing against Spence before he quit. Body language never lies in a boxing match. I didn't like Kovalev going into the rematch when I watched him and his camp make excuses about the 1st fight, saying they overtrained and stuff.

What happened in the Rigondeaux fight? I was watching the LSU game.
