no that's not what i meant. He clearly has the size and coordination to be a good athlete, but there had to be something there to put him over the top. You can't just say he bloomed late.

He had a scholarship to Central Michigan as a TE, he left there to walk on at Wisconsin. He was on the scout team & earned a scholly the next year.

I'd be willing to bet it wasn't anabolic steroids. If he does use gear, you don't suddenly forget how to beat a test. He's been doing this a long time. Something tells this was something new he tried.
Does he juice? Most likely but he is a workout freak. I've spoken with people who trained with him at LSU. The S&C staff would have to make him stop. He would train all day if you'd let him. He missed curfew at an away game because he was lifting in the hotel gym in the middle of the night.

Not true, some people are just truly freaks of nature. I have a good friend that is 43 and built like LaRon and not only does he not juice, he doesn't even lift, he just eats by far the most food I have ever seen! I would never believe it if I hadn't been good friends with him for over 10 years. He used to play in the NHL as an enforcer and looks like a prime Mike Tyson at 43....the best part is he is white!

I never saw you ask? You talking about the one for PKs last game on MLB.com? That was the 94 varsity team and I was only a sophomore, wasn;t on there.

I played with him probably hundreds of times, summer league and practices, but never in a sanctioned HS game. I wish I was better at baseball!
