i knew we were mentioned for this weeks game and i knew that they were trying to get the metrodome ready cause i think they were honoring the best 50 vikings or something.

If not in the Metrodome, Bears/Vikings will be at Univ. of Minnesota's field. If not that, then I'm hearing in Detroit or even Indianapolis.

i know Detroit is away again next weekend so having it up north makes a lot of sense.

On ESPN pregame show they mentioned NOLA as an option for tonight's game.

I read that the U of M field is not an option because the turf has not been winterized or something, whatever it is it's not suitable with a week's notice.

Next week's Bears/Vikings game is on Monday night.

FWIW I'd love it to be in NOLA and extract some revenge on the bears

why are Northside and Carencro going to play in Detroit? Superdome makes more sense.

Rachel Nichols reported through her Twitter account yesterday that the Saints called the league after seeing what happened in Minnesota and offered the Superdome for tonight and the Vikings' game next week.

Benson loves doing things out of the kindness of his heart.

This is the order it goes I bet.

The Superdome has as much of a shot as getting it as the Alamodome does...or Reliant...or Jerryworld.

They were looking at locations where FOX already had setups for tv coverage - Detroit being one and New Orleans being one

As far as next week, who knows, Saints are on road so they could send a crew to New Orleans but I would say doubtful - I guess with Minn being a dome team that is what they are after a domed stadium

I bet it has more to do with not wanting them to play on a torn up field.
