ESPN
Dude's a beast. In 2013 against #25 Oregon State, he completed 23 of 30 passes for 411 yards and 4 TD's with no interceptions and also rushed 16 times for 107 yards and 2 TD's. He has real talent and I think this guy has a serious chance at winning the Heisman, even though I'd rather see Fournette win it as an LSU fan.
Here's a highlight tape showcasing his abilities:

No. 7 Oregon has named transfer Vernon Adams as its starting quarterback for the team's season opener against Eastern Washington, his former school, on Sept. 5.
quote:
Adams was a late arrival to Oregon's training camp as he finished up his undergraduate requirements, and he beat out junior Jeff Lockie, Marcus Mariota's backup the past two years, to win the job.
quote:
In three years at Eastern Washington, Adams threw for 10,438 yards, 110 touchdowns and 31 interceptions. He was twice named the runner-up for the Walter Payton Award, given to the FCS player of the year. Adams has been off-limits to the media since officially joining the team Aug. 13 and is not expected to speak publicly until after the Ducks' first game.
quote:
In two seasons as Mariota's backup, Lockie threw for 264 yards, one touchdown and one interception in 19 appearances. Despite Adams' much-anticipated arrival, Lockie was expected by many to start the opener due to his more advanced understanding of the Ducks' offense and the minimal time Adams has spent with the team.

Stats backup that he has talent at the fcs level. In my opinion it also shows how simple and overhyped Oregon offense is. Dude learned it in two weeks?

Definitely affirmative action. Thanks Obama!

It is simple, but defenses can't stop it. Except for osu. They can.

Yeah, it's not exactly something you see every day. Kind of ironic.

Not playing Homer but LSU did as well. The simple offense can out athletic everyone else but teams with elite athletes on defense end up being too much for them.

Gonna be kind of fricked up too if he beats his old team by 80

Lsu did very well, but if the don't play Alabama they're known as one of the goat defenses. That oregon team wasn't a goat offense.

Which is almost inevitable to happen in my opinion

It's insanely simple. That's what allows the tempo they play with. Probably wouldn't take more then a week to learn

If that dude wins the heisman I'll eat one of my own turds.

That Oregon team was still finding its legs for much of that season. And I'm not taking away from LSU either. They did that same thing to every team that regular season.

Oregon fans
- Our offense is so incredible!!!!
- oh it didn't perform well? Well that team wasn't that good. Doesn't count!
- oh that team wasn't our BEST frickING OFFENSE EVER, so it doesn't count.
Are you shitting me? Obviously the GOAT offense is gonna be incredible. The logic is nonsensicle from them

Unless you're Auburn

To think that Adams didn't already have a playbook and wasn't working out with someone or someoneS from Oregon before he got to campus is pretty naive.

Oregon's offense becomes null and void if a team can own them in the trenches. It's that simple. In 2011 LSU owned them in the trenches and had speed and better playmakers on defense. Its not that hard to beat them

Lemme know if that was a goat offense when OSU curb stomped them in the NC game. I eagerly anticipate your response.
