I don't like Utley, but he should win this appeal. Jung Ho Kang broke his leg 2 weeks ago on a bad slide and Coghlan wasn't suspended. Nobody has been suspended for this before. MLB is acting like the NFL and making shite up as they go along. The play was dirty as frick, and should not be allowed, but the playoffs are a hell of a time to set a precedent for trying to get rid of this play when it has been accepted for so long.
