I'm not a fan of USC or Steve Sarkisian, but I feel bad for the guy because he's an alcoholic and can't control his drinking and it cost him a very nice job which I'm sure he probably loved having.

But I'm sure that if he can get help and beat his addiction, he'll get another chance to coach somewhere. Hell, Bobby Petrino got a second chance after he screwed Arkansas and Atlanta. And Petrino probably wasn't drunk when he fricked those two teams.

As crazy as it sounds, I wonder if he really loved the USC job.

Many people convince themselves that they should take on high-stress jobs due to prestige and/or money. However, not all of us have the personality or temperament to handle constant public scrutiny. Based on his drinking habits, Sark is obviously not a happy - or at least a content - person. He probably needs to be away from football for a long time.

If I was USC I would call Dan Mullen and Matt Rhule at Temple. What he has done is amazing though he has an overall losing record starting 5-0 at temple rebuilding the program was awesome.

Even though it's a long shot I would ask Mark Dantonio and ask what is his price just to gauge what it would cost to get someone who's established.

Had to happen. I mean I was drinking during the ASU game too, but I'm just a fan. Head Coach shouldn't be.

Nice sentiment, I agree with it. I genuinely hope he gets better, and gets his life back on track. The alternative isn't pretty.

As far as other coaching opportunities, Petrino's been getting second and third chances because despite the fact that he's an arse hat, he can coach.
Sark really hasn't proven that yet.

So, Sarkisian's agent just said that Sark is missing and no one can find him? Did I hear that right?

I can't see him there. That just screams Rich Rod to Michigan where the fit just isn't right. USC is flash and dash while D'antonio is rise and grind
