can't see Bud starting a rook, but it'd be nice to have some more size, youth and talent amongst the backup bigs.

Well our starting lineup is gonna be the same as this year. And we need help at 2 and 3. Oubre is a lengthy defender with athleticism. Looks like he will be able to hit shots as well. If he is there at 15, he's a hawk IMO.
Also we are more likely to keep millsap than Carroll because of various salary cap implications

Kansas glasses. Just a bit. Look I know we need athleticism on the wing thats for sure. But 1) I dont think Oubre falls to us. 2) I think we have to go big this year in the draft.

You may be right. I think Carroll is going to be tough to let go though. But Ferry and Bud may just have to let him walk.

Love the idea of Winslow being available at #8, although I have my doubts...I'm sure SVGodfather and Consigliere Bower will not hesitate if it plays out that way.

not so sure about that. I like Millsap, but how much do you wanna tie up in an undersized PF who's turning 30? I'm guessing he's gonna want 4 yrs at an avg of maybe 12 or so per. even if you set his contract up to decrease every yr (like they did with Korver), I wouldn't wanna be paying him much when his athleticism starts declining.

shite if we can get him 4 years at 12 per, I would be ecstatic. Carroll's cap hold goes up to like 6 million I think. Think we can get him for under that? We have plenty of space especially if we can get these guys for under their limits (millsap at like 16 and Carroll at like 6). We can re-sign both and have about 8 million left over
