How about Seguin getting a penalty at the most inopportune time WTF?

Hats off to the Blues tonight. Dallas played really well but.........

Went to my first NHL game since the Thrashers were in town.

Saw Nashville vs. Pittsburgh, and I was pretty pumped to see Crosby. Crosby was absurdly good. His poise and immediate control and handling of the puck was on another level. Glad to see him play so well and score two.

Marc-Andre Fleury made a couple fantastic saves. I think my friend told me he is very off and on, but he was on that night.

Shea Weber was the most impressive player on Nashville IMO. I can see why he is on a 14-year deal.

I don't really have anything truly informative to add other than the game was fun. I had an all you can eat seat and they gave me $1 beers, so that was sick. I am not sure if that was supposed to happen, but I definitely took advantage of it.

Go Lightning
Hope they keep growing towards a legit Stanley Cup playoff contender.

Boy, The Wild impressed me when they whipped up on my Lightning like no one else had all season the other night. I know the Lightning were at end of a long road trip and The Wild hadn't played to much before that this season, but still. The Wild looked really solid, but maybe I'm overreacting, and they were just having a great night shooting the puck, Who knows, but The Wild sure seemed quick & dangerous with that puck. I'm not used to seeing teams hanging with the Lightning's speed like that.

The Lightning has some great looking young prospects. and I like the off-season moves they made. Hopefully they can make a deeper run in the playoffs after finding out it takes reaching another level to make a serious Stanley Cup playoff run. Until then, we'll enjoy the season and dream of a Lightning Cup run.....

Do you get $1 beers in the all-inclusive zone? Almost worth the extra cost given the $10 beers at Bridgestone.

Shea is a badass. I remember a dude getting knocked the F out by one of his slapshots last year.

Tonight up against Edmonton. Did the oil change complete and will they win 5 in a row? Or will the Preds win, and stay on top of the division for the first month.

As for Washington - Detroit: Which team will go on a 2 game losing streak after this one? Hopefully Backstrom and Ovie will have a say on whether or not Mike Green will continue as the top scorer on the team. frickin' trotz

What a terrible fricking call to negate a goal. Glendening is 10 feet from Holtby, Holtby trips, puck goes in net, they call goalie interference on Glendening.

Is this the first time in Nashville's history that they have ended the month leading the division?

I went up and got them at the all you can eat concession stand.

The guy there said he was not supposed to do that, but just come back to him and he would hook me up. I am pretty sure I paid him directly for the beers. I even tipped him $5 for the last two beers I got.

Definitely got my money's worth. I would not bank on something like that happening again, but if you go to a Preds game, then I would call before and see how much it is to upgrade to the all you can eat seats and $1 beers (bud or bud light only, but still worth it for sure).

Refs really blew that one. One of the worst calls that I have ever seen.
