Goalie has nothing to do with it. Bad communication defensively leaving guys wide open. And whatever the frick that was by Despres.

Goalie should be able to cut angles especially if he is great, which MAF is not.

That last one was. Behind everyone = breakaway.
Wouldn't matter if it's Dominik Hasek in his prime in net, leave guys in front of the net all alone = goals, who is in net is irrelevant.
I'll chalk it up to the new system early in the year for now, but no excuses later on in the year to be missing assignments so badly.

If the opposing player is in ahead of all defensive players and in alone on net it's a breakaway in my book.
And there probably isn't a better goalie in the League when it comes to taking away angles, it's why MAF is a step above any other goalie in shootouts.
