Hudspeth has to be on the hot seat, right?

They've played in a bowl game 5 of the last 6 seasons under Hudspeth, including their first appearance in school history.

Too bad they can't make it to anything but the New Orleans bowl.

With the fans, yeah. We currently don't have an AD and probably don't have the money for a buyout. The new Athletic Director will have a decision to make.

The seat is also expensive to change

For ULL that's an amazing accomplishment though, considering how shitty that program has been. My point is who would they get that can do any better?

Pretty much anyone can make a bowl game these days

My sauce says he's on the hot seat but administration is too cheap to buy out his contract.

If the boosters are still willing to pay $1 million, there are plenty of people who would want this job with the new facilities and all the talent in Louisiana that slips through the cracks. It used to be a shite job but it's actually a pretty desirable spot for a young guy looking for a springboard now.

It's so weird that no one can get that the New Orleans Bowl is the best decision for the program unless a prestigious bowl comes calling. We're one of the few small teams that makes money on our bowl games. If it's a choice of low tier bowls, the New Orleans Bowl is the only one that makes sense. They'll keep inviting us because their attendance blows without us there.

They can't afford to fire Hud. Their sports program doesn't have the fan support or financial resources to fire him

At least they won't have to vacate the victory in a few years

Ummm that's one of the few bowls they can only go to
Even if they went undefeated they still wouldn't have a great chance at a big bowl game you would know this if you didn't bang your friend's dream girl, damone

I remember when it took a winning record to make a bowl game.

1 mill a year...There's some fans here that want to see better results than what they are paying for

Attendance looked pretty scarce last night from what it appeared on tv.

Yes he is. Don't let anyone fool you. He has a sit down coming with Mike Alden and the expectations of the program is going to be laid out in front of him. 8-4 is the standard for this program. He has the best facilities to recruit to and can't coach.
Jimmy Sexton took Scott Farmer to school. Otherwise he might have been run after this season even with the bowl appearance.
