They are. He's even said so before on the radio and his road trip blogs

It's Louisiana; of course there's going to be some form of corruption.

This is true.

I guess they could float a LPFA loan or something, secured by the pledges.

Can they? I could have sworn I heard that due to budget shortfalls and cuts that loans and bonds were a no go for Louisiana Colleges and Universities. Possibly it was a forecast if the budget issue couldn't be rectified.

How that idiot still is the AD is way beyond me. That jackass is unfit to lead a high school athletic department, much less a D1 program.

Maybe this will be the catalyst for MAJOR changes since the die-hards are finally fed up. You can't mess with the baseball fans, those folks won't play games.

The 1st time he fricked it up, he failed to secure a $10 million donation in a timely manner from the guy who just passed away that was a partial owner of the Texans. He sat on the pledge long enough to have the donor get swindled by Madhof

This project has been cursed multiple times
This the guy who was putting up $10 million originally LINK
Farmer didn't cash the check quick enough

This is what happens when gas prices have been literally cut in half since the project was hatched.

Yeah but he had plenty of opportunities to secure the money.

I read from someone closer to the program that Farmer blamed it on Jim Harris - a guy who's been here for like a year, when Farmer has been working on the Tigue renovations since he was hired - He has no shame.

What a dipshit farmer is. Also it's about right that they finally hired a dedicated rcaf fund raiser when oil was at $20 bbl

Yep and they've still refused to completely separate RCAF with the Athletic Dept. which means Farmer can still frick up and make Harris' job more difficult. From everything I hear about Harris, he seems to be competent and good at his job so it's a shame he's having to de facto report to that smegma filled syphilitic foreskin of a human.

This is the first that I have heard of renovating the stadium. Hypothetically...apparently...what will be the new total seating/attendance? What other changes were to be made?

Understatement of the year. Farmer put a power point presentation together for conference realignment and emailed it to the CUSA office. He didn't even present it, or invite anyone to campus.

Are you serious? I knew this dude was terrible, but that is next level shite. A new conference is paramount and I fear that they may have missed the bus.

It is painful to watch the new Belt members wipe the floor with the Cajuns in their first years in D1-A, particularly in FB.

Yep. The PowerPoint has been confirmed by multiple people. Then he said that "we're comfortable in the Sun Belt"

Can you believe that shite?

He was also willing to let Hudspeth walk after his first season, for Tulane without an offer until Savoie saved his behind. He ran off Mike Lotief over $60k that was already earmarked for softball but didn't release the money to the program. He told Hudspeth to go out and raise his own contractually obligated bowl bonus money for his coaches because it wasn't his responsibility.

Yet he is still our AD.

Geez. What in the hell does he do, collect a paycheck?

How can he still have a job? Can't the donors stonewall him and demand a change?

But let someone "misuse" ULL and he and his department are all over it.

I say that in jest to some extent, but it's true.

I think some donors have pulled their money lately after they found out Farmer lied to them again. That's apparently part of the hold up.

Actually that's a fan issue. Farmer caves on the name issue every time we play an instate school and demands that Cajuns be used as reference.
