Thanks for posting. The announcer said Lafayette like my grandfather that lived there would when he was trying to be funny.
I have never watched these pre-fights before. Have any of you ever picked up anything you would use in betting during these? Like an injury, or someone seeming off? I don’t bet on fights, too risky, just a question.

Total newb here but if I order the fight, what time do the undercard bouts start and what ballpark time am I looking at for the McGregor bout to start? Central time

If I had to guess the McGregor fight will be at around 11-11:30 cst.

Yeah, saw that earlier. Guess the rumors of a changed Connor after the khabib debacle are true. Or it could be another Connor head game. Thanks for posting all the pre fight stuff this week, I never watch it.

Dustin is not khabib and I’m sure you understand that. Anyone that gets touched on a regular basis in their fights does not stand a very good chance against mcgregor. Diaz is the exception because he’s a fricking cyborg that can take beating like no one else.

Yeah Diaz is on another level toughness wise. I said it was a dumb fight to take when mcgregor took it on short notice. Diaz had the reach,weight, cardio, and chin advantage. Just a bad matchup for Conor. Conor still battered him and knocked him down in the first fight multiple times. Diaz is beatable but conors lack of cardio makes it a touch matchup. Gotta give Conor credit he came back and beat Diaz. It was super close but I thought he barely pulled it out.
So pumped about tonight though should be a great fight.

What time do you guys anticipate the mcgregor/poirier fight actually starting. We were going to go to a restaurant but not sure if they’ll kick us out at closing time before the fight starts. Any recommendations on northshore places that will be open late?

I’d say 11 give or take 20 min. I usually figure 30 min per fight on main card.
Twin peaks. If it is packed don’t be afraid to throw some money at them hoes. At the one in Lafayette, me and 5 other buddies called about 30 min before the last big HW boxing match and offered $200 for a table. She said if you bring $200 we will get you a table and have us her name. We asked for her when we got there and she kicked some dude out and gave us the table then kept the drinks flowing thru the fight.

Not sure where on the NS would have it bout this isn’t like a football game on NBC where it’ll be on anywhere you go. Any regular restaurant on the NS ain’t gonna have this on.
