Jones is the greatest MMA fighter ever. Can't stand the guy but his talent is undeniable. I had the fight 1-1 and Jones set up the High kick beautifully. Joe Rogan should be ashamed for interviewing Cormier after the fight. Was obvious he had no idea where he was or what happened. Sucks DC couldn't get it done but he's still an all time great and could beat any LHW ever except for Jon Bones Jones.

The one where Maia was consistently walking forward, pushing the pace.

You think the guy shrugging off takedowns and counter punching with haymakers was the guy pushing the pace?

He apologized right after the fight, when they were sitting outside the cage.

This isn't a Joe thing. The UFC has to decide they won't allow an interview after a KO.

Joe was complaining about this being bad policy after the AO fight in which he gets KO'ed and then, when still confused, claims the other guy tapped before he was knocked out.

The people who run the UFC have to make this call. And they should for the dignity of the fighters after getting their brains pounded into unconsciousness.

But it is a Joe thing. It's up to him. He said he wouldn't do it anymore after the Reem interview and he broke his own rule.

I don't think it's that big of a deal in this situation. DC didn't say anything crazy. Just emotional.

If Joe had the option to refuse to interview fighters who just lost via KO then I would blame both him and the UFC. He should exert that right (if he has it) and the UFC should take away any discretion he has for that type of scenario.

just watched woodley fight maia.

i was really surprised to see how hesitant tyron was when trying to engage with maia. wasnt expecting that at all.

maia needs to concentrate more on foot and head movement so he can change angles when throwing more combos, but it wont happen. he needs to do so when facing explosive athletes like woodley.

this was a fight he could have won if he focused more on standup during his training. this will help with takedowns too since they are smooth but are easily see. he had no business shooting for woodley from several feet out. that was painful

i dont think he needs to focus on grappling so much anymore.

That fight was an embarrassment for a title fight. Dana White refused to talk about it to one reporter and when she described it, he said "Thanks for making it sound so good" or something like that.

Woodley should be stripped of the belt. He was scared to stand in there and fight with Maia. He just did enough to not lose.

Put him on the facebook card until he decides he wants to fight the way that earned him the belt.

Edit
Dana White is pissed. He removed Woodley from the GSP fight.

That's ridiculous.

He won't headline a card again, though.

Dana nailed it.

It's too late for Maia to be a competent striker. At this point in his career, just give him entertaining matchups - guys willing to grapple, guys that can be taken down. He's not going to make another run at the title.

It was painful.

Cyborg vs the Midwest mom was more entertaining.

ETA: On another note, who is next for Woodley?
