Woodley was on the MMA Hour today. He told Ariel he tore his labrum in the first round. He demanded a public apology from Dana or said he was going to leak some stuff Dana/UFC doesn't want out there.

I get what you are saying but DC was so concussed he was arguing with big John and then Dana about the fight results. He had no clue what was going on. If a fighter gets knocked out like in that fight, what does it matter if he's there for the announcement. These guys are already taking enough injury to the head, why chance it or make it worse

I listened to Woodley interview and he was spot on in my opinion.

Good luck blackmailing the UFC. Should turn out well for him.

here's a post fight video of DC fwiw
First time I've seen that video. The live video didn't show what DC was doing.

I was wrong. For bad KOs like this, normally they sit the fighters down, get them medical treatment, and when they are ready to move, they get them out of the cage. That didn't happen here.

Woodley does deserve more of the blame for that fight although Maia could have changed strategies.

I'm just shocked that an explosive athlete such as woodley didn't even attempt to go tko/ko Maia. He knew Maia couldn't take him down

Maia is the challenger. He's the one that needs to go and take that belt.

Yeh that was my point. The worst look to me is the freaking president of the league just fricking screaming at DC

I honestly though for a while on Sat nigh DC was going to have some serious lasting issues

I hate that mindset. Play it safe and make the challenger beat me.

Well, they all actually want money. And getting on the top of the card is what makes you the most money.

Woodley can keep his belt, but he will never be a headliner

He's not going to get big boy money with fights like that. And now he's trying to blackmail the UFC?

That's a consequence of his decision of course. I simply don't see why he gets shite and Maia doesn't. But me and SBWM already went through this dance
