Pegado trains out of Nova Uniao, not Chute Boxe. He is a WEC import, This is actually his third UFC fight. He's been pretty impressive in both.

i dont get the diaz love. he's an ignorant POS
I think the love comes from the fact that he is "rebel" and that "ignorant POS" can flat out fight. I don't like him either but that SOB very well will be your next welterweight champion.

I can see why people love Diaz. He isn't the guy who changes his personality to please the masses he stays true to himself. He's a rebel and puts on very entertaining fights. Personally I'm not a fan of him but I respect that he isn't trying to be something he's not.

I'm a fan of anyone who comes to fight and not just try to win a decision. And guys like the Diaz brothers and Chris Leben, while not the most likable guys, fit that bill.

I use to love Robbie Lawlor back in the day, when Nick KOd him I became a Diaz fan. I love the way he fights.
I do not like Nate though, lol

I respect the Diaz brothers as fighters, but they are both pieces of shite. When they speak, I feel dumber. Need to be more than just a good, aggressive fighter for me to like you.

Not me, I'm not inviting them to dinner, I'm watching them fight. I can't think of many fighters I'd rather watch than the Diaz brothers. They can be as dumb as they like so long as they both keep showing up in fights. WAR DIAZ!

Huge Reason I like the lighter weight fighters! They come to bang! Korean Zombie is my favorite fighter today for one reason and one reason only, his first fight with Lenoard Garcia was epic.

I enjoy watching them fight, but I never cheer from them because if they win I have to hear them speak, and that's never good.

there is nothing respectable about the Diaz brothers outside the cage. belligerence and stupidity are not admirable traits
Posted on 2/2/12 at 3:58 pm to Tino
now that first row is down, where can we see the fight?

wow that's freaking crazy! for fighters in their weight divisions though I'd be in favor they have to be weight on the day of their fight to truly represent that they are in that weight division instead of this cutting weight then packing on the pounds after but I know the many problems that could come with this.

Nah. You would end up seeing some very low stamina fighters. I like day before. Guys still have problems from it if they don't do it right. Part of the game.

Yeah, but if they did have fight day weigh-ins a large percentage of the fighters in the UFC would fighting in a higher weight classification.
Thats what makes Frankie Edgar so impressive, he walks around like 160. I heard him on a podcast and he said on weigh in day he wakes up around 157 or so and only has a couple of pounds to cut. Then goes out and beats guys 20+ pounds heavier than him like Gray Maynard.
