Think if Ellenberger wins next week he should get a shot at the interim belt?

Wouldn't mind seeing that. That would be 6 in a row for him since his last loss which was to Condit via split decision. I guess it all depends on when GSP will be ready too.

I just don't see GSP fighting in 2012. Don't think Dana will have Condit sit around for a year either.....

I wouldn't mind seeing it either but I think it'd have to be a co main event to something because I don't see the masses swarming to Ellenberger Condit. Diaz financial wise would have been a better champ.

really? i kinda thought arlovski was on the downslope.

for some reason i thought him beating roy nelson was after his two losses to sylvia. imo i thought that was the beginning of his downslope but to each their own opinion.

It was after the Sylvia losses, but it was right before the Fedor fight, where AA had won like 5 in a row. He beat Werdum, Rothwell, and Pe de Pano in that stretch.. He was still very much elite when he beat Nelson. It was after the Nelson win that AA lost like 4 in a row.

Yep, Mauricio Cruz.... He kinda fell off in the UFC, due in large part to his striking (or lack there of). Since then, he's actually done pretty well.

His fight with Jeff Monson is probably the worst fight in UFC history.
