I was really lookin forward to Daley vs Cyborg. Too bad Cyborg got hurt. Now Woodley will probably wrestle-frick Daley.

Damn...Dana's mama going public.

I hope Kongo doesn't try and take Meathead down

tito/rashad? i hate both fighters. i'll pull for a terrorist attack in the middle of the ring..and the ref escapes harm of course..and no blood gets on my beautiful Arriany.

i have mixed feelings for Hendo/Fedor. I hope hendo wins but that's a huge weight difference. Hendo says he walks around at 200.

This card sucks (doesn't mean there wont be great fights). Tito is 1-5-1 over the last 2 years, he aint about to get a title shot. I read some stat on how PPV buys have been on the decline since 100. Looks like that trend will continue.

Biggest MMA fight this year IMO.

Not even close.. Diaz-GSP is pure epicness.. this is, well, a dude on a 2 fight losing streak that's about to make it 3.

I actually forgot about this fight. While I like Hendo, War Effing Fedor. Dan doesn't stand a chance.

I think Meathead wins this fight easy, he's bigger & more athletic than Barry, dude was super green on TUF, but he's improved dramatically and well.. he's crazy. Can't wait for this card.

Last year, UFC had the most PPV buys of any company in one year ever (WCW, WWE, WWF, Boxing, Puppy Bowl). Oh and sold 55,000 tickets for a $12 million gate a few months ago. Rest of the year after this card looks to be very strong for the most part, and Brock will be returning next year. Don't see Zuffa not turning a profit for a long long time.

I believe UFC 100 was in the 1.7 mil range but that may never be equaled the bankable stars still sell really well:

UFC 132: "Cruz vs. Faber 2" -- 350,000
UFC 131: "Dos Santos vs. Carwin" -- 335,000
UFC 130: "Rampage vs. Hamill" -- 325,000
UFC 129: "St. Pierre vs. Shields" -- 800,000
UFC 128: "Shogun vs. Jones" -- 445,000
UFC 127: "Penn vs. Fitch" -- 260,000
UFC 126: "Silva vs. Belfort" -- 725,000
UFC 125: "Edgar vs. Maynard 2" -- 270,000

The only people who sold PPVs were Brock (by far), Chuck, GSP, Penn and I guess Tito, Randy. Chuck is done, Brock's lost some bloom on the rose and is always out, GSP just fights to decisions now and the other guys aren't at the top anymore. Throw in that pretty much every main card has 5 injuries before they ever happen, none of the new light weight class guys sell (2 champs dance around for 5 rounds and dont even bruise their opponents' face and Aldo like A Silva isnt as popular with rednecks because he doesnt speak English) other than maybe Faber and its even worse. I would assume Jon Jones will be a big draw in the future but i'd said its definitely declining.

they gotta put someting entertaining on that main card. Belcher vs Macdonald is decent but nobody is tuning in for that. Throw Pettis vs a striker on there or something.

It's really hard for me to believe they will add any major fights to the NOLA card, considering it's in only 2 months. I've been telling y'all for a while now that it would suck. All I kept hearing was "wait, it'll get better!" The UFC thinks they are doing good by having Shields, Belcher, and 2 TUF winners on the card. The problem is, the 2 TUF winners came from the quite possibly the 2 worst seasons. As much as I would like to go to their "return to the Bayou"; I'll probably just go to the Houston card.

EDIT: All of these confirmed by various sources
GREAT CARD
Frankie Edgar vs Gray Maynard (just confirmed by Ariel Helwani)
Kenny Florian vs Jose Aldo
Melvin Guillard vs Joe Lauzon
Brian Stann vs. Chael Sonnen
Anthony Pettis vs Jeremy Stephens
Demian Maia vs. Jorge Santiago[6]
Dave Herman vs. Mike Russow[5]
Josh Grispi vs. Matt Grice[5]

I don't know about the match-ups, but I'm definitely looking forward to seeing Court, Brookins, and Mackens in the octagon.

i hate this because i like them both

it knocks guillard out of a title shot or Lauzon is getting stamped
