Yup, so what kinda bump is TM then?

Who knows... He very may be a midget.

My whole thing is everytime he is brought up, fans say "He'll suck in the NFL." and I always ask "How do you know?" People can be so definite when they dont have a fricking clue.

Tim Jennings is listed at 5'8" and went to the Pro Bowl last year
Another good one since he is listed 5'8" 180

The question becomes can TM play corner in the NFL? Does he have the instincts/skill set?

He is a wannabee Ed Reed. Has a knack for making plays but that's it. Too small, not fast enough and doesn't hit hard. Only chance he lasts in the NFL is on special teams/returning kicks

Posts like this. My question is, if he knows all of this and is 100% certain.
A. Why is he not employed by an NFL team?
B. He should tell someone in the NFL office so no one drafts him.

Is the guy a loud mouth? Of course. Is he disliked? Yep. Does it mean he wont be a good NFL player? Absolutely not.

Cause he is NOT that good as a cover corner. He is a ball hawk and could be a decent Special teams player, Thats about it.

I'm not convinced he has the man to man cover skills needed to make a big enough impact to remain an NFL corner. Whether or not he can mask that weakness with his intangible skills and knack for finding the ball is yet to be seen.

just my opinion but I don't see it. I could be wrong, it wouldn't be the first, but I don't think he has the skill set of a traditional corner nor do I think he runs a 4.45 or faster. I think he runs closer to what Leonhard ran in that 4.6 range. Not saying 40 time is end all of it but it does impact draft position

fwiw, re: his height, Bama listed Marquis Maze at 5'10" and he checked in at 5'8" even at the combine. this is the 2 of em face to face from 2011

not saying Tyrann's a legit 5'10", but some of the "he's really like 5'7" stuff is probably overblown

I think he would flourish in a Greg Williams defense actually

Based on what he did in college. Lets remember the last time anyone saw him play was when those Bama WR'S were eating him alive in the BCS NC game.Just sayin.

Not arguing that fact, but I've had a face to face conversation with him in union during his freshman year and I'm 5'8" (may half an inch taller if you wanted to get technical) and I was just a bit taller than he was. So maybe he had a growth spurt since

The WRs for Bama were pretty much doing that to everyone of our corners. Just sayin.

One example would be LSU vs. Tennessee 2011, he got absolutely lit up man to man

there's more to his college career than the Bama game, and I think he showed he could cover in other instances.

I think he'd flourish in a tampa 2, given that that's where you've seen some shorter corners do well recently (Tim Jennings, Ronde Barber, even Jason David at one point).

I think he'd be an intriguing guy to someone like Monte Kiffin who liked to move Ronde around some.

I saw him at a hornets game a few weeks ago. He's 5'9, maybe slightly taller.
