Mississippi State is the undefeated #1 team in the country.

They lose to a two-loss Alabama team in Tuscaloosa on a lucky play.

Mississippi State doesn't lose again.

Alabama doesn't lose again and wins SEC Championship.

Mississippi State still ranked higher than Alabama at the end of the regular season.

Which team does the committee select.

Both get in but we need to know who Alabama lost to.

Would there be other teams in between them that would matter more for the discussion? Or is this the last spot?

How is Alabama make the SECCG with 2 losses? Who are their losses to? At least one would have to be OOC. And it would have to have been by 39 if you're trying to make this an Ohio State/Penn State thing.

Alabama barely loses out of conference to an 8-4 P5 team and loses big at Tennessee.

He said truthfully. The truth is, it's a stupid comparison. Mississippi State is not Penn State or Ohio State.

How about you answer the damn question, jackass.

Or to put it in terms an OSU fan can understand, what if the brand name team/TV draw was the 2-loss conference champion? What would the ESPN mouthpieces say?
