Durant is 7 feet tall can handle like a point guard and shoot from any where on the floor....

Lulz.

I've got LeBron, Dwight, AD, and Durant as my top 4 centerpieces. Switch AD, Durant, and Dwight around if it upsets so many of you, but those are my top 4 without a doubt.

I know this man.

What does Rashard Lewis have to show for his career besides scoring 20ppg on bad teams?

ETA: Or am I suppose to recognize Rashard Lewis as a great player because of this?

Keep teaching though Professor NBA History. Your knowledge of the old times and players like Rashard Lewis is quite impressive.

Perhaps, but I think that would be the wrong call. Again, is is about relative value - think of it from a WAR standpoint in baseball. I've got $58,679,000 of salary cap with which to work. If I'm going to tie up 33% of that in a player, he better be a big man.

So much ignorance. I guess the Heat were terrible teams for you because they tied up just over half of their salary space in a 2 and 3.

First pick. He's the best player in the league and he's only 25. Do you even serious bro?

Ok, fine. What kind of options do you think are going to be available at PF and C by the time you pick again?

You asked what Hedo and Rashard had done in their careers besides playing for that 2009 Magic team and I showed you that Rashard was a damn good player before he got there. And scoring 20 ppg a game efficiently on crappy teams is a lot harder than scoring 20 ppgs on good/great teams efficiently, which is what he did.

Point is, you are/were acting like it was Dwight and 11 D-Leaguers in those Finals. He had the exact kind of supporting cast he needed. Same as AI in 2000.

What?

LeBron is exceptional both offensively and defensively at every position on the floor. He is the epitome of value.

I think Dwight Howard's game gets unfairly ragged on because of the fallout from his last two moves but I don't see him being dominant enough to regard as a franchise player capable of carrying a team to a championship.

He's a great player and I used to think he was even better (watching him go nuts in the playoffs in Orlando) but his free throws are a liability and his offensive game is still obviously crude in spite of all the lip service to how the Dream and McHale were going to turn him into a real low post player instead of a guy getting by on athleticism.

JMO but you'd have to put Chris Paul ahead of Howard. If you wanted to go on potential you could even argue Davis ahead of Howard.

Probably good players like Hibbert, Randolph, Marc Gasol, David West, Deandre Jordan, Tyson Chandler, and Joakim Noah. Hell at worst, I'll slum it with Serge Ibaka and Andre Drummond. Might be able to get a 6th seed with a front court of Durant, Ibaka, and Drummond.

We're arguing the same thing.

I'm saying the pieces around them wouldn't have worked for most teams.

You're saying that the guys were the right fit.

You are correct and I'm sorry for kind of being dick earlier.

He was 6'9 when he got to Texas and 6'10 when he was drafted by the Thunder. Not crazy to think he may have grown another inch or two.

Durants defensive numbers are a good bit above LeBron this year
