Ima start it. Ainge isn't that foolish to give IT the max. Gotta get some assets to build around Fultz, Brown, Bradley, Smart

Boston would be crazy to bring him back at max money. They looked better tonight than they have in a while imo. With Fultz coming in and a shite load of flexibility, this should be a no brainer.

They shouldn't give Thomas the max even before this game.

I think it's called the Ewing Theory. Star player get hurt and team actually plays better.

But besides that, you'd give Thomas 4 years and possibly 20 million? Knowing you can use that money to bring a more prominent piece?

Um, they were down 20 points without Isaiah too....

Cleveland decided to coast down the stretch BECAUSE of Isaiah's absence.

Not even close to his max

And with the way money is flying around the NBA right now, Amick reported the max deal would be for five years and $179 million, which includes a $40.8 million salary for the final season of the deal.

Don't trade Isaiah if you don't have to. Pair him with George instead of being kind of good forever.

Okafor, Saric, and the #3 pick for Isaiah, Olynyk, and the #1.

Who says no?

Idk man. I'm not a fan of trading away mvp candidates just because some rookie is getting hyped up. You already know what Thomas is going to give you.

Not sure Boston pulls the trigger on that without keeping Flutz imo but Okafor with the C's is intriguing.

Who what though? You are trading for one year of IT before he's looking for a max. Who would we get for that?

Damn initially I'd say Philly but that #1 is in there.

I just don't see Isaiah going anywhere.

I know. Plus for Philly, Isaiah's defense isn't as big of an issue because Embiid is back there protecting the rim.

Maybe Okafor and Howard wouldn't compliment each other well, but I think they could make it work.

Boston very quickly says no. That's a bad trade.

The only way Boston traded Isaih is for some major assets. Ie a player that can improve their team now. But they will not trade IT just for the sake of trading him and they can be all in on Fultz... Fultz is supposed to be the real deal. But as far as I'm concerned until he plays a full NBA season. IT is much more valuable than him at this time.
