Can't remember the year, but when that UGA player got his clock cleaned at Auburn. '06 I think.

Not gonna link it, but Joe Theismann's injury, or Napoleon McCallum. Brutal.

Dale Sr wreck at Daytona, when Darrell Waltrip started saying he hopes Dale is ok with a shivering tone in his voice was tough to watch and hear.

Very eery.

Watching Prothro get injured was pretty tough. He was having a career day and gets hurt in the 4th when we were up pretty big. I still remember him getting carted off the field and the whole stadium chanting "Prothro" in unison as he pumped his fist.

Mett after the Bama game last year when he basically dragged himself off the field. Cemented himself as one of my favorite Tigers that night.

Guys, the OP meant tough as in "that guy was a man"...not "wow, that was tough to see"

Without a doubt, Clint Malarchuk incident. He was the goalie of the Buffalo Sabres and almost died when his neck was sliced with a skate. He literally almost died. Never played again.

Video- very gruesome injury starts at 17 seconds, lots of blood

Pleasant dreams!!

The OLine just quit on him. He stood in there and took it like a champ. I respected him after that.

Still confused as to why Les didn't at least leave him a running back to help on 4th and 28 after being sacked 3 times in a row.

Toughest to watch: Fabrice Muamba heart attack
His return to the spot

Toughest player endurance: LINKGregory Campbell blocked a slapshot and it broke his leg. He gets up, and finishes the penalty kill. You can easily see how much it hurt. Playoff hockey.

Lots of fail in this thread.

That's not true at all. They let them keep going until they lock-up OR they go to the ground.

They will step in if no one is punching. That's what happened in the video and one of the guys (or both) said they were still going at it

I left out the last part. Not exactly a ton of fail. Yes, if they lock up the refs will come in as well.

It was some fail, but the fail in this thread is all over the place.

People don't get the point the OP is trying to make.

Just got that.

I'll go with Lane Bearden. Alabama punter back during the Franchione days.

He tore his ACL during a fake punt against Arkansas in September. And he kept punting the rest of his senior year.

LINK

He used to lay some licks on returners too. He had a hit that was on the intro to GameDay for the longest time.

One of my favorite Bama players. He actually received a Heisman vote that year.

Definitely. Looked like you were watching a guy die. I watched it years ago, once was enough
