We didn't even do that, we just opened up the seats for our fans to buy tickets first. Completely different, but I do remember a thread complaining about it.

Gotcha. I was reading about this on the Tech board while I was waiting for your response. So apparently CentryTel bought a bulk of the tickets, and no one showed up? And they were turning Tech fans away? Wow, pretty pathetic move by ULM.

ULM plays in a rodeo arena. No atmosphere because the closest seat to the court is still a quarter mile away and the last time I went, their ticket office didn't have the technology to accept credit cards.

Negative, we have memorial gym which has a nice floor, but is a really old building.

When I went, one guy told a fat ULM band member to do the truffle shuffle. The band member's dad heard and challenged the guy to meet him in the parking lot for a fight. That was probably the loudest their fans got all game.

Their fans were into it tonight, I guess that was just because it was Tech. If Tech missed a shot, their fans went nuts. Although Tech jumped out to a 19-5 lead they cheered for the most meaningless things.
There will be a video of it later, but Alex Hamilton shot a three from the corner and apparently one of the ULM fans sitting courtside said something to him as he shot and he nailed it and just turned and smiled at the guy. I lost it.

yeah that's not terrible but when you compare it to this...yeah your fellow poster (not you i understand) maybe needs to rethink his stance.
last pic is just the mens practice court. women have the same thing. and both have state of the art locker rooms, etc.
pmac isnt the nicest facility around, not even close, but its better than techs. no offense buts just a fact.

Oh I absolutely agree. I think too many people get the sense I hate LSU, which is absurd because my family owns season tickets to baseball and football and I had basketball season tickets.
I have always loved the PMAC. In terms of comparing the two stadiums (TAC and PMAC), they are very similar. However the new practice facility that is attached is absolutely sick and puts the PMAC way over the top. Not to mention the exterior of the TAC is an eye sore IMO.
Memorial Gym is not attached to the stadium. It is located in the middle of Tech's campus.

I've never been to the PMAC for a basketball game so I don't know how it is but I was underwhelmed when I went in for a graduation. That practice facility is awesome though.
