My point was that our recruiting is comparable, implying that there is no dominant "brother" here even though Tech fans believe there is.

I'm acting like a moron. You're arguing things that are pointless. Casual people have forgotten about both of our bowl games by now.

Ours has a little bit more staying power because of attendance and finish.

My mind instantly read that sentence in a hick voice. I'm catching on quick over here.

That's assuming Tech honors the contract.

Yeah, all kids dream of playing in the vaunted WAC against UTSA and Texas State.

Ok,
Tech is a better school and football team year in and out.
ULL had a great year and my hat is off to them, but year in and year out post Katrina La Tech has been the second best football team in the state. I don't get the hate, there is enough second tier talent in the state of Louisiana of both ULL and La Tech to have successful programs. I pull for Ull in every game.

I don't hate Tech. I was happy for them this season. There's nothing wrong with having multiple solid FBS programs in the same state.

ETA: That being said, I hope they can only get 1 star recruits each year. Nothing personal, but we're taking from the same pool, and I don't necessarily agree that there is enough talent to go around.

I don't care about the battle for seconds in Louisiana. I just showed up for the initial skull-drag comment to contribute to the positive reinforcement loop of good ole' ribbing.

Tech would, factually, be about an 8 point favorite over ULL on a neutral field. From a Vegas standpoint.

For the guy asking about Allen.

He has one punt downed at the one, and another inside the ten that was muffed and recovered by tech. He only punted three times, the third one was a 45 yard punt downed around the 30

I looked at some stats but it only said 5 punts for 216 yards. Who else punts for Tech?
