For me, NIU had just come off of a last-second heartbreaking MAC Championship loss and then lost their coaching staff to Minnesota. Those combined made me think they wouldn't give a frick.

6-2, changed my pick from Toledo to FIU before the game after looking deep into it, but didn't push "submit my picks". 
So, Went whole game rooting for FIU not knowing my pick never changed. So I really lost, what a jackass.

From my memory it's always seemed like Hawaii at home in bowls was practically unbeatable. Not to mention some other sorry school is distracted by basically taking a vacation and traveling all that way. I thought Hawaii was a lock, I think I put like 25 conf. points on them.

did all my research on espn.com bowl center, went to the bowl's page and each teams page and reviewed their seasons/watched highlights, was well worth wasting 2 hours of my life to make 35 picks
