His throwing motion makes for a real catchable ball.

It's still just one game.

This season?

I'd say Vince has played quite well in the games he has started!

He is having a poor game tonight but before tonight he ranked 13th in the League in QB Rating (ahead of the likes of Kurt Warner) and he's doing it with a very poor WR Corp.

There are those QBs who suck worse than him and that's most of the starters in this league.

Throwing motion sucks
can't read coverage (or a children's book, but hey he went to UT)
Can't make pre-snap adjustments
No pump fake
Inaccurate
All those issues and still 13th in QB Rating after over a year away from the game and a poor WR Corp? Impressive.

Oh and nice shot at UT but you'll find the University of Texas's Academics ahead of those of the school by your username and at a far less cost as well.

I would not use Kurt Warner to make my point. The guy is old and beat up, suffering from numerous concussions. If you want to make comparisons, compare their first and second years in the league.

The preeminent and most cited source for such rankings agree: LINK

T-47. Texas
50. Tulane

Wow, you're ranked a few spots higher after Tulane's free fall following Katrina. Tulane has the largest disparity in the country between admissions statistics and US News ranking, which is largely due to poor peer review scores thanks to NOLA's terrible reputation following Katrina. Prior to Katrina Tulane hovered in the 35-42 range in those rankings, and the school is probably stronger now than before

It's an arbitrary ranking system where Tulane is siginficantly better than all the schools within ten ranking spots of them in every area except for one, peer assessment. The huge disparity between Tulane's hard numbers and the actual ranking tend to point to something being wrong

First, he is better than you are. Second, did you watch the game against the Cardinals? That was just amazing quarterback play. You obviously don't know shite.

Well it is a criteria deemed to be important by the source, so there's at least a little something to that.

It is obvious that the two schools are certainly within shooting range of each other even if we messed around with the rankings a little bit for either side. Of course, with such similar academic qualities, it is interesting that one of them charges over 4.5 times what the other does for tuition and fees. Love me some value.

Have you ever seen one of the leaked peer assessment surveys? They're terrible. It's been all over the higher ed publications recently. Several have leaked in the past year, and they were absolutely ridiculous.

Anyway, despite what the other Tulane poster implied I've always respected Texas academically. I don't think you guys are like Florida, an incredibly overrated school with delusions of academic grandeur

And the money comments never bother me. Scholarships are a wonderful thing
