IIRC that's an NFL record for TD reception distribution and those two WRs contribute, average 13 Y/R between them and possess 70% catch pct each. It's obvious they supplement what Julio provides.

While this is true, that was under the offensive mind of Kyle Shanahan. The offense should be a lot different this year under Sarkisian.

Sarkisian is you want to see a good offense? Hold my beer.

The worst part to me is that the Titans are one of the teams in the honorable mentions category over some others who are far more deserving.

10 players on the 2016 Falcons gained 200+ yards receiving, averaged 13 Y/R, Julio is a WR unit unto himself and this Falcons unit defeated the no. 1 ranked Packers in the NFC title game, case closed.

Falcons WR corps was 4th in receiving yards in 2016. Patriots were 3rd and added Cooks.

Good. That means I get to look forward to seeing Gabriel turn 5 yard routes into 60 yard TDs again this year. It was fun to watch last year.

Hey now. Brees made the Saints relevant for a number of years and gave us a SB.

The Brees/Payton tandem is the worst thing to happen to WR value since the Colts whined about Ty Law to outlaw defense.

They will after the game, though.

2016 Falcons set NFL record for receiving TD distribution, higher Y/R than Patriots, retain all those components that accomplished those feats and return the league's reigning MVP as QB, any more questions?

Yes.

A) Why do you keep referencing gross receiving stats in a thread about WR corps?

B) If the Patriots WR corps had more yards and added talent in the offseason, how do the Falcons have the better WR corps? Should be an interesting deflection with your reliance on stats to prove the talent of a WR corps.

ETA: Not that I even agree that the Patriots have the best WR corps. It's just easier to shoot down your stats argument by using the Patriots.

Bc they averaged a higher Y/R than the Pats and 10 players gained 200+ for the 2016 Falcons and they're returning for this season to dominate NFL defenses, also Julio Jones is on the team which is the only argument I need essentially. Game set match.

List those 10 WRs.

ETA: Surely you're not including the RBs with 400+ yards receiving each. Or the 3 TEs with 200+ yards each. You wouldn't be silly enough to use RBs and TEs in your argument for the best WR corps, right?

ETA2: Welp. Turns out you are that silly.
