Bruh, dude is a complete freak. I saw the guy merely flick his wrist and the football went 65 yards.

There is a reason he was 3rd string. He snuck up on Wisconsin, Bama, and Oregon because they spread out some basic concepts between the three games to attack the defense. He beat Bama on basically three plays and Oregon they used jet stream and levels concepts. It was brilliant but give d coordinators an offseason to study him and he is going to have to assimilate more of the playbook to stay effective.

Also, he needs a deep threat if he doesn't develop the intricacies of the offense. What made him so dangerous last year was Smith.

I personally think Barrett gets the job.

How exactly do you "sneak up" on UA & UO?

Also, I wouldn't expect him to start over a two time B1G POTY or a guy who went 11-1 as a starter.

Because they were unbelievably stacked?

And, it's not uncommon for a non-starter to fill in and do just as good or even a better job than the starter.

Especially when there is no film on them. However, most get "figured out" and there is a reason they were behind the starter. Most don't go on to usurp the starter.

Also, I am not saying that Cardale is chopped liver but saying "pump the breaks" on top 5 CFB player.

I am cautious with Jones.

Exactly, that's pretty weak excuse for UA & UO.

Oregon had exactly two games on him. That isn't exactly a great film study to expose a kids weaknesses. Besides, tOSU beat the shite out of UO despite a lot of mistake by Jones.

tOSU could've put a lot of qbs in the backfield and beat us. No excuses here.

bullshite... That's a reason coaches are paid so well... They had enough game film and time to study him/them... You are making excuses for your team getting its arse kicked... Just like always........

I am not making any excuses. We got the shite beat out of us. What is going on here is you are taking something I said that isn't even material to the thread and running with it. Oregon was going to lose that game no matter who was at qb.

HE IS NOT A TOP 5 CFB PLAYER.

I don't get this film comment. It's not like Ohio State changed their offensive concept when Cardale stepped in. Anyone that's watched any garbage time film of him could tell you he had a cannon and wasn't afraid to scramble with no regard for his body.

He essentially just posed an additional threat to safeties with his cannon arm.

Jones strikes me as a kid that doesn't have it between the ears to be a great qb. He doesn't take care of the ball very well and the playbook was watered down for him compared to Barrett. He can win it all for tOSU because of what he has around him but he isn't even the 5th player I would take on your roster.

As far as the film comment, I believe that d coordinators will scheme better for him next year, especially without Smith.

Take off the P&G glasses. Fournette is not a top 5 player in CFB.
