I didn't think Hugh Freeze had been a head coach for 73 games. But OP is including his 2 year stint at NAIA Lambuth University where he went 20-5... so it appears it is not just division 1.

Then your title is wrong. You do know that there are more teams and players in Division 2 and 3 than in FBS and FCS combined?

If you add his time at the D2 school and Central I bet it is. If you just add his time at Central, Cincy, and Notre Dame he still has a great win %.

those two schools dominance in DIII is just crazy stupid.

I think if you add Pete Fredenburg from Mary Hardin Baylor in there as well, the 3 collectively have an average of 2 losses a year, 1 of them losing in the semifinal and one in the final. So on a given year they go 37-2.
