Tony Romo...good but not great.

This is coming from a disappointed Cowboys fan. I'm still pissed off today. The thing that jumped out at me the most was the last drive. When the Redskins blew the coverage and Miles Austin went down the middle of the field uncovered it appeared that Romo threw the ball behind him and forced him to break full stride. Brees, Manning, and Brady all would have hit him at full speed. If Romo had done that Miles ends up in the endzone and it's lights out for the Skins.

As much as I hate the Cowboys, I would agree.
Romo gets a lot of shite, but he's a pretty decent QB. Top 10.
But he's not great and never will be.

Miles wasn't going to score on that. He just wasn't fast enough to take it all the way. Romo is a very good regular season qb, decent in the playoffs so far. I'm a pretty big Cowboy hater but it isn't Romo's fault his oline is terrible.

I also thought Romo's decision making up to that point was suspect too... They should have never been in 4th and long with two timeouts. It stalled the drive/ wasted time and they got out of sync
Granted one holding call would have changed everything

I think Miles had to adjust to catch the ball. He damn near stopped and turned around if I remember correctly. If he catches that ball a full stride he was going to get in.

Out of all the things about that game to gripe about... thats what you choose?
Romo played pretty good last night. And led a nice final drive. And he wasnt scoring on that play no matter where the ball went.

he's not good enough to get them to the playoffs this year

When you have an offensive line like that, then Peyton Manning will also be "good, not great"
