Not really, but okay.
It is played up to 3x a year. I think the Crosstown rivalry is better, because there is real hate between the teams, play 1 time a year.

I would not say UNC Duke is GOAT, but close. It is top 5.
I think the Penn Lehigh game is top 5 also, especially when it played in the Palestra. Problem is they have moved the Big 5 away from the Palestra now and Villanova has owned it.

Jumped on UNC -6.5 this morning, I think they kill Duke in the paint. If Duke gets hot from 3 they will be in it, otherwise UNC by double digits

I agree with this.
The fact that the 2 campuses are just a few miles apart adds to this.
The one fact I find a bit unusual is that Carolina fans outnumber Duke fans in NC by 4 to 1, at least.

Probably because duke is a small private school and UNC is a state school. Duke at least seems to have a larger national fanbase

Id love to see a "Tournament of Champions" where you take 8 conference winners from the year before, rotate it between Major basketball markets. Also rotate 2 conferences out of it every year.
You would have to be the 1 seed in your tournament from year before to qualify. To seed the tournament, you have a blind draw and go after it.
So this years version would have been:
Kentucky
Wisconsin
Virginia
Villanova
Kansas
Arizona
Davidson
Wichita

If they played still, the MU KU game is bitter rivalry also. It is because they play 2 times a year and sometimes 3.
As I said it is top 5 but I think the Xavier Cincy rivalry is a better rivalry.
