Obviously Brees is up 14 (or how many ever) games on him and still going strong, but does anyone think Brady eventually passes him? Or if Brees fails to throw a TD in his next game, is his record safe regardless?

Brees will continue his for quite some time. We have to throw more now to do anything on offense.

I can't see either one of them not throwing a touchdown in a game for the foreseeable future unless one of them gets hurt during the game.

Consecutive games or consecutive games played?

I want to know how Bree's kept record when he sat out vs Carolina.

Serious question.

Games played. They're tied for the record in uninterrupted games I think.

Josh Freeman still put up career high passing numbers on your Swiss cheese, old man defense

Yall let Freeman throw for 420 yards & 3 TDs.......that's more than he has all season combined.

The record is for touchdowns thrown in consecutive games played.

Per wikipedia:

quote:

Tom Brady holds the record for most consecutive regular season uninterrupted games with at least one touchdown pass, one better than Brees.

For some reason games not played don't count

FWIW DiMaggio did not miss a game during his 56 game streak

Not to sound stupid so was Unitas' record in consecutive games? Because that is how I always understood it not games played. As it seems consecutive games is a bigger deal.

I mean I get hurt in camp miss all season but still get the record or using Ripken, he gets hurt in ST misses a year, but would his record still been same.
