I'd use a first rounder on Watson unless there was just major arm strength issues that you see in workouts.

Any QB has high bust potential but he's got a pretty high ceiling if he works out.

You see the ball he threw against FSU? Backed up close to Clemson's EZ on 3rd down and he threw a fricking bullet down the left sideline.

One of the most impressive throws I've ever seen. He's got the arm is what I'm saying.

Not sure where I'd draft him. Seems like an impressive kid, though.

I trust what I've seen on the field. I think he seems like a good kid also. I think sometimes all the GMs outthink themselves. I know it's what they specialize in but sometimes the right pick is the obvious pick.

Watson's game reminds me of kaepernick. All the physical talent there but just can't consistently put it all together.

Has Todd ever been correct about how NFL prospects turned out? Watson ought to take that as a vote of confidence.

This stuff about Watson has been floating around for a few months.

I'd take Watson before any of the other eligible QBs. Maybe not in the 1st rd, there's too much defensive talent this year. But he seems like a good kid with an extremely high ceiling. He needs to work on his consistency the most, I've seen him make some incredible throws and in the same game make you say "wtf was that?". But his mobility adds another dimension to his game that I think would fit well in today's NFL.

Trubisky is pretty darn good. He was shaky in the opener against Georgia but I think that was nerves. Since then he has settled down considerably. He can make the intermediate throw and the deep throw and is not a statue in the pocket.

I hope he does come back for his senior year, however.

He might as well get a jump on it and start looking for a place in Cleveland.

Considering the high bust rate of QBs and the lack of readiness, I wonder if we're going to start see QBs taken later in the draft again? More benching rookie QBs for the first year or two until they're "ready"?

I've never been high on Watson. shite mechanics, inconsistent, can't hit a wr in stride down field to save his life, turnover prone. I also do not like QBs who leave college early they rarely work out.
