No NFL team wants to deal with the distraction for a back-up caliber QB.

Kaepernick should try baseball.

They'll be more receptive to deal with a distraction that possesses a higher completion pct and QB rating and is more elusive as a runner but what do I know?

That's a fair point. People don't like it but coaches just see a decent backup or borderline starter that is gonna bring a media storm and distractions.

Different in Tebow is a white guy who is successful with faith so the media wants to bring him down. Kaepernick is just an attention whore who is misguided

I agree. So someone can bean him in the skull and knock some sense into him.

Tim Tebow was nothing close to a backup caliber quarterback.

One focuses on the positive things in life, the other the negative things in life.

Not surprising to see one universially loved and the other universally loathed.

I wish more people could see it this way.

They could not be more different.

It is more simple than that. See my post above.

Kaepernick is better. I think he can still be a starting QB.

Get over yourself. Both of their personal lives and beliefs are a media circus and distraction from their play on the field. They are both altruistic individuals who show the courage of their convictions. One is ridiculed and regularly called gay for his devout faith and the other is called a pariah by grumpy old white guys for his thoughts and protests against social issues he feels strongly about. You agree with one and not the other so one has to be a piece of shite. The american way

Seriously, which media is this guy watching? Is it the media that Tebow is a part of?

I've only ever seen "the media" prop him up.

The media hates Tim Tebow so much that they gave him a job and let him keep his job despite the fact that he is now a minor league baseball player and his employer had to lay off 100 other people.
