Former Penn State Athletic Director Tim Curley and former senior vice president Gary Schultz pleaded guilty Monday to endangering the welfare of children in the alleged Jerry Sandusky cover-up case. Curley and Schultz entered their pleas in morning proceedings before Senior Judge John Boccabella. The agreement sets up the possibility that they will testify for the prosecution at next week's scheduled trial of the only remaining defendant in the case, former Penn State president Graham Spanier. They each pleaded guilty to one misdemeanor count that carries a maximum possible penalty of a $10,000 fine and five years in prison. The judge said there was no agreement on the sentence they will received.

"There is no provision of the agreement that would limit my ability to impose sentence as I see fit," Boccabella said.

Prosecutors said that none of the Penn State administrators who were told of the allegation reported it to law enforcement, childcare and youth services or made any effort to locate or identify the child.

I don't understand how their fans think Joe Pa was innocent in all this. Joe Pa was the most powerful man in Pennsylvania. He was the law.

Like it never even happened.

Now JoePa's statue can go back up.

Ironically enough I'm sure Joe Pa's supporters will view this as evidence of him not being as culpable.

It's one thing to overlook a crime; it's another thing to overlook a serious crime with victims; BUT it's on a whole different level of messed up to overlook a serious crime with victims, with the knowledge that there will more than likely be when more victims if covered up.

Words can't describe how despicable and infuriating that is.

JoePa was a pedophile protector. That is his legacy.

Feel like these pieces of shite are in some ways worse than Sandusky. Sandusky was a sick, mentally deranged pedophile. These assholes enabled him to prey on kids all in the name of the program/financial gain.

Couldn't agree more st Aug. They could have stopped it. But turned a blind eye to the kids. I hope all the people that knew it did nothing die a miserable death.

It's mind blowing that so many people could be aware of what was going on and nobody alerted the authorities. What is that thought process even like when each person first realized what was going on? "Oh shite, we better keep this kid thing under wraps" fricking disgusting

No reason they shouldn't. The people responsible have been removed, and taking away football does not compensate the victims. That's what the $60,000,000 is for.

Dude was a football coach at Penn State for over 60 years. I know high school football coaches that have been at a school for 3 years that know every thing going on with a student in their school. You telling me Joe Pa didn't know what was going on? That he didn't have a hand in keeping this thing out of the newspapers?
