Detroit gave up a 2nd round draft pick. Not a huge deal imo.

His dip in Ks and velocity this year was somewhat concerning, but this isn't that pricey considering the amount of money flowing through baseball these days. Zimmermann is clearly a better pitcher than Rick Porcello.

yeah, I would have just liked to see him maintain that 2014 rate. That was an elite pitcher.
