It's pretty pathetic that the media worries about our kids hearing some bad words, considering all of the drugs/sex/rape that we see on network television these days. Really not a big deal. If it was directed at anyone other than himself, then we could actually care.

Its Tiger so the media cares. Also, I don't think you could pay kids to sit down and watch the Masters anyway.

So what? The reaction to a bad shot is the same. Millions or not.

He said "frick" in an honest moment on a tucked away tee box at Augusta. Big deal.

Lighten up dude.

ETA: Who decided "frick" was a "bad" word anyway?

Not a fan of it but prob 25% of the golfers do it. Just never get caught because he's always got the Mics and cameras around him

Saw it live and immediately turned off my television. Needless to say, I won't be watching any more of the Masters and I won't be watching CBS for at least two months. Absolutely disgusting.

Seriously?

You seriously don't understand the problem with dropping an F-bomb on live, national TV?

Well I'll be damned.
Yes. A so-called professional. On live, national TV. With children across the country watching. Remarkably, this issue always seems to arise with the same person. Amazingly, it doesn't seem to be a problem with anyone else on the PGA tour.

It's not enough of a problem for them to turn off the mics or have a delay. This is the networks problem, not Tigers.

TV has rampant violence and drug use, not to mention foul language that isn't prohibited. Why is it a problem just because Tiger does it?

Funny, I've only heard one F-bomb during the Masters this year. And it just-so-happens to be the same person I've heard an F-bomb from before.

You're kidding, right?

As someone wrote previously most utter a 4 letter word after they hit a shot they aren't happy with. Most don't have a boom mike nearby to pick up the 4 letter word.
