Yeah im just goofing. And i dont know where the hell i got the "ball must first hit in bounds" to determin the drop position.

Regardless of whether is was a bad drop its golf, there is no replay. The golfer is trusted to penalize himself accordingly.

Rolfing knows his stuff and he basically shut J. Miller down when he said it was a good drop. As for the angle and when it LAST crossed the margin of the hazard, they should show some other drives that were good to show how it looks like they are over the water for most of the ball flight.

yellow is a hazard, red is lateral hazard, and white is O.B.

Interestingly, P. Mickelson hit into the same hazard on Thursday(?) and dropped on the front of the forward tee box...IDnK what his ball flight did though.

How many other player drops were over-analyzed like this from the weekend? People are so freakin mad when Tiger wins and I love it. It will only get better too because he will win several more times this season.

How is that interesting then? If you don't know his ball flight then it's not interesting at all.
Bottom line is Tiger can no longer be penalized or ever was in jeopardy of being penalized. Drop was legal. People can say it was a bad drop but it was 100% legal.

I figured as much.
I just enjoy watching Tiger play golf too much to dislike him. Even when he's playing bad he can hit some amazing shots.
I wish golf had more polarizing players like Tiger and Sergio. And more feuds.
