So he forged them. That doesn't mean they were his design. Forging is a process

Like I said before, if that's the bar we're using, every player on the planet is playing Mizuno or miura stamped as something else

About 90% of forged clubs come from 2 factories in Japan. One of those is Miura. If that's where we're setting the bar for calling a club one name and stamping with another, then you guys are correct

About as complicated as it gets from the way it sounds. I read once where Nike supposedly recruited a Miura club tech and thereby Nike made them.

Anyhow doesn't matter, Tiger could play with some old Dunlop blades from a thrift shop and be competitive; and vice versa the average joe could play with the most supreme forged Miura clubs and be lucky to break 90.

Correct. My point is if I'm playing TM irons, TM designed them and Miura, Mizuno, etc forged them.

Miura did the club from start to finish then it was T stamped. Titleist doesn't get all of their forgings from Miura. Your 90% number is bullshite.

Might want to do some research. You think all of these companies have forging plants?

I didn't say they did. But 90% isn't going to just the two japan companies. Some come out of china (callaway for sure), a few are actually made in the US, some are assembled in mexico. Again, 90% is BS.

90% and/or 2 companies may be BS. But it's not far off from that for major brands

You must think golf scoring rules are BS too because you don't take penalty strokes when you go OB

He and Thibby went offline.

I don't think I know or ever played with MNC.

When I didn't have a HC or wasn't playing for money, I'd play OB like hazards. No one I played with seemed to ever have a problem with it.

It could be worse. You could be betting and lose then not pay off your bet like some people around here.

This is just untrue. At least to a degree. Everyone I know with an M1 I have literally heard them say who hits it.

Maybe you are right that ultimately, people bag what works best, but I don't agree about that for new sales. People chase more yards, and that is pretty much proven by what is out there on the market. That's why everyone out there is producing a 46 inch driver, yet hardly anyone on tour hits one this long.
