Why'd they bleep out the medication Tiger said he was on when asked?

Because that's privacy - health information.

You can say you drank a million Natty Lights...but without consent it's illegal for a news agency or the police to give out your personal health info.

Not mentioned in the report, however, is prescription sleep aid Ambien.

In 2009, when Woods crashed his Cadillac Escalade into a fire hydrant outside his then-Orlando home after wife Elin Nordegren had reportedly discovered that he had been having extramarital affairs, Woods had reportedly taken Vicodin and Ambien earlier in the evening.

In the wee hours Monday, Woods did not mention Ambien. A toxicology report from a urine test is expected back in about two weeks and will reveal what was in Woods’ system at the time police found him asleep at the wheel in a Black Mercedes, the engine running but stopped in the right lane with the right blinker on and damage to his driver’s side tires, both bumpers and a tail light.

Why the hell is he taking Ambien when he has doctors...

I thought he was taking Ativan and Vicodin.

Ambien is playing the lottery.

That was from his crash before but yeah not good

I believe one of the drugs he mentioned this time was Torix? Not sure what that is.

I don't have much experience with this, but I was pulled over once in a random stop at a DUI checkpoint. This was actually the second and final time I've ever been pulled over by a cop (the other was a broken headlight back when I was in college and was completely unaware of).

I had 2 drinks in 3-4 hours, and I knew my BAC was well below the legal limit. They had me do a field sobriety test and let me go after about 5-10 minutes without giving me a breathalyzer. I saw several other people who were pulled over also driving away, so I don't think what you are saying is always the case.

Let's be honest here. Pills or alcohol, he could have killed some innocent person on the road. He should get jail time out of this.

Tough call. What if they find some video of his leaving just minutes before he was found. He takes a medically prescribed drug, and has a 'reaction' and sleep walks or 'sleep drives'? No one was hurt and you say put him in jail?

Full disclosure--I dislike TW for the most part. His treatment of the public has been piss poor. I am GLAD this was not alcohol but I think he needs some help. Far more good can come of this than spending public funds to jail him.

He was clearly out of his mind.

Every time you text while driving, you could kill someone. Jail time for texting and driving?

I have always despised woods but I take no pleasure in seeing him fall into these problems and honestly I hate that cops are publicly embarrassing him with the dash cam video.

Hopefully he can get help and actually start to change himself as a person.

I agree with your first sentence but the cops were just doing what they are trained to do. Not sure they have a choice about releasing the dash cam stuff.

Best outcome...as long as he doesn't win another major.

That video was hard to watch, but he was impaired and needs to face consequences. On the other hand it's clear he's had a pill problem since 2009 when he underwent knee surgery. He needs to change in a big way or he's headed the way of so many rich stars who over dose on drugs.

No he shouldn't and he won't get jail time. This is his first offense

He'll pay a fine, do some community service, maybe attend a substance abuse course.

That's the worse case scenario. He may be able to plead down to reckless driving.

Yeah, I'm good with that. I would prefer distracted drivers not be on the road with my family.

I bet your fatass likes to eat burgers while driving, which has proven to be just as dangerous as driving drunk.

Thought the same. They were incredibly patient with him and gave him multiple attempts at the sobriety test.

They don't have a choice. This isn't a pr campaign by the cops.
