I remember reading about Singapore outlawing spitting in public years ago and thinking wtf? I also remember traveling overseas and seeing a chinese cabbie cover one nostril with his finger and blow a small family of banana slugs out of his other nostril (onto the pavement)
That was so disgusting I had less of a problem with Singapore outlawing it

I would bet most of the people in this thread defending Tiger for his actions on the golfcourse never watched pro golf before Tiger.
All tour pros have at some time done some things on the course out of anger or frustration that they later regretted. The difference is that Tiger continues to do those things week in and week out. There are very few tour pros than can be included in that group.
I'm not as offended as some by the spitting, but I don't like to hear him drop f-bombs and acting like a spoiled child every week after a poor shot.
